Schema markup generator

Describe your business the way search engines and AI assistants understand it: who you are, what you offer, who is behind it and where else you appear. Fill in as much or as little as you like. Nothing you type leaves your browser.

What are you marking up?

Fill in what applies. Empty fields are left out of the code.

Basics

A square image of at least 112 × 112 pixels works best.

A permanent identifier for this entity. Leave empty to use your website address + #organization. Use the same ID elsewhere to link your markup together.

Profiles elsewhere

LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Wikipedia, Wikidata, Crunchbase, Google Business Profile and so on. One of the strongest signals for connecting who you are across the web.

Paste it into the page’s HTML, ideally inside <head>.

Getting it right

Which markup does your site need?

Most business websites need Organization (or Local business if customers visit you) and Website on the home page, Service on each service page, Person for founders and authors, and Breadcrumb markup on inner pages. Add Article to blog posts, Product to product pages and Event to event pages.

Go beyond the basics where it’s true and visible: founders, areas served, what you know about, awards, credentials and your profiles elsewhere (sameAs) are what help machines connect you to the right topics. Keep it accurate and consistent with the page and with what other sites say about you. Then give each entity an @id and combine them, so they read as one connected picture.

  1. Pick the type that matches the page and fill in what applies.
  2. Copy the code and paste it into the page’s HTML, ideally inside the <head>.
  3. Test the live page in Google’s Rich Results Test.
  4. Update the markup whenever the details on the page change.

What is schema markup?
First answer

A short block of code, in a format called JSON-LD, that describes a page in terms machines understand: this is a company, this is its address, this is a product with this price. Visitors never see it.

Markup describes you. Evidence gets you chosen.

Structured data removes guesswork. Being recommended by Google and AI search takes pages that answer real buyer questions and proof others confirm. That is the work we do.
